My Buddhism: The 8 Fold Path

Sorry I didn’t do a video for this particular subject but I’m still studying it, and so far it has taken a while to digest and I’m still trying to combine it with all the practices I’ve learnt so far. All of which are valuable to me, my life and my connection to other people and animals. So below, are 2 links to great websites I enjoy: – Basic Study Portal:

-On this site is the basic guide to Loving-Kindness Meditation which I’ve been studying for the past month or so through Tonglen and the Lojong slogans. It’s helping me a great deal. It changes the way you think and act, but for me it’s helping me deal with the acceptance of who I am and what the world has to give. Try it out at least, it takes a while, but it’s totally worth it.

And this one is a book written by Bhikkhu Bodhi:

For those of you who knew I had started a little 4 part series on my Youtube channel called My Buddhism. My Buddhism is just a mini series I hope to update at least once a year, just documaneting my journey into Buddhism and how I combine it with paganism and witchcraft. Click the links below of what I have filmed so far, and I would love to hear your thoughts.

What is Buddhism?

Sidhartha Gautama (Buddha)

The Four Noble Truths

The 5 Precepts

  2. Thank you for sharing and discussing Buddhism. I recently made the decision to give myself a year of study and practice of Buddhism so your timing is very synchronistic to me 🙂 it;s always awesome to hear someone else’s take on it.

    • I’m glad I’ve helped with my interpretation. Buddhism is beautiful! Check out Pema Chodron!! She rocks!! I’m halfway through one of her books, When Things Fall Apart and I am loving it! Start Where you are a fave of mine though!
