Making and Using Sigils – D3xt3r3lla

This video is awesome, simple and takes note on grammar in spell crafting; which is one thing a lot of people tend to forget – your asking for divine assistance not demanding it (in most cases). I’d thought I’d post it so you folks can view it yourself =]

When using sigils, I read you can make a sigil out of your magickal and/or working name to label your tools (Big Blue, Buckland). I’ve started labelling my tools with my working name, and I have sigils for certain power words that help me in a quick meditation such as clarity, love and I love all things and all things love me. They are quite fun, but there is a serious side to them, especially when dealing with sigils that are very old. The older the sigil the more power it has, so make sure you do your research first!

  1. You can also label your tools using runes. Ways of using the runes including bind runes and staff runes are good for this.
