Morning Devotions (Video will come shortly!) pt. 2

A more personal note.

Who in their right minds wouldn’t prefer to stay in bed, under lush warm sheets and waking up to a nice silent house in the middle of the day???? Hmmm???? (don’t lie!) I bloody want that!! Lol!

The first thing to do in the morning after or before you go the toilet (if you can), is sit at the altar or at the open window and take in several deep breaths. All of which expel the nights breaths. Exhale to inhale the new days potential for greatness and positivity. Once you feel at ease sit and think about all the events of the day before and light the God candle, the Goddess candle and the candle that represents you. With or without a morning devotion, you can pray the Gods for the new day, and thank them for what happened the day before and thank them for keeping you alive and safe.

At this point take all the time you need. Savour the moment, the relationship you’re having with the Gods. You are their child and they love you as much as you them. Its a connection you have with them, so take this time out each day to honour them. If you’re a busy sort of person having to juggle work, studies and family etc, then this is the moment that you should set aside a few times a week. The Gods don’t ask for much, but its one of those moments when its common sense to honour them a few times a week.

The connection you make can be a physical and a spiritually mental/psychic thing. You can close your eyes after lighting incense and after the prayer, and by this you’ll be able to feel the love or a warmth from the Gods. For me, depending on whether I use incense and crystals, I’ll close my eyes whilst holding money, and visualise the Gods smiling at me. Its not much but the feeling I get is incredible, for the rest of the day I feel great and nothing seems to affect me much. I’ll give the money up as an offering to the Gods and Buddha.

Its hard to explain, but once you get into the ‘groove’ of doing a morning devotion you’ll notice a change. Try it out for a couple weeks and then randomly stop doing one and see what happens. If I don’t do one, I feel totally stressed and blocked up. The energies that are expelled during devotions are yesterdays negative energies, so if I don’t get rid of them then the following day I will feel like shit. Its weird to explain, but try it out and remember to note your feelings and thoughts on this!

BB for now, xx

***** Check my older post on Morning Devotions I wrote back in April?… Not sure! Lol!
