My Fantasy Cast: The Vampire Lestat

This is a book I think most people into the horror/vampire genre should read to get one vampire’s view of the world. Like the prequel to this book, Interview with the Vampire, it’s a deep insight to the world and the psychology of the lead character, Lestat De Lioncourt. I’m not going to go into detail about the story, you should check out for more info.

But for those who are familiar to the story and the characters then this is going to be a blog that many will like, or dislike. This blog is about how I would turn this vampire masterpiece into a film. Check out my fantasy cast list:

Lestat De Lioncourt – Joseph Fiennes, I see this guy as one of the classic actors of our time. He could play Lestat really well!

Magnus – Anthony Hopkins, he rocks!!!

Armand – Antonio Banderas – he played him very well in Interview With The
Vampire can’t change him!

Nikki – Ben Whishaw, he played Grenouille from Perfume: Story of a Murderer and any more characters. He has a significant character about him that can adapt to almost any kind of person.

Gabrielle De Lioncourt – Cate Blanchett, she is a remarkable actress. What can I say?

This is just a random list I put together… there are so many more characters but overall, this is the list I would choose. If it were up to me, I’d have Tim Burton and Peter Jackson work together to bring this piece together! Hehe! Bye for now! xx
